Phase II SBIR Awarded – Submarine Operations and Risk Management

Adaptive Methods, Inc. of Centreville, VA was awarded a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract under topic N131-044, Mission Planning Application for Submarine Operations and Risk Management.  Under this initiative, Adaptive Methods and the Applied Research Laboratory/Pennsylvania State University (ARL/PSU) will continue development of open framework approaches to autonomy for UUV applications. The team propose to develop an Autonomy Framework suitable for use in UUV applications and components compatible with that framework that demonstrate, situation awareness and provides recommendation for near term COAs based on tactical situation, mission objectives, and platform risk assessments.
